Together, from the first dive up to the podium and the national records!

The first Vikos Panhellenic Swimming Championship for People with Disabilities held at OAKA Indoor Swimming Pool on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of May 2023, was organized in the context of our cooperation with the National Sports Federation of People with Disabilities (EAOM-AMEA),

Numerous athletes, famous champions together with new entrants competed in fourteen individual categories and relay races, in all swimming styles and the mixed individual-team, achieving significant national records.

Overwhelmed by emotions and wild admiration we watched the swimmers in the water, their natural environment. This is what they cherish, inspires, and challenges them every day to go beyond their limits for the best. This is what makes them feel fulfilled.

It is this water precisely which supported them in the national championship. Vikos natural mineral water is the boost that keeps the athletes with disabilities team going. It dives with them and helps them (to) overcome any obstacle. Because water is a byword for determination. You bear it inside yourself. It drives you ahead and helps you overcome all obstacles. It's power. It's a flow. It's the boost you need in every fight you give.

We are proud to have been at the side of the National Sports Federation of People with Disabilities (EAOM-AMEA) at the Vikos Panhellenic Swimming Championship as well as by adopting four EAOM-AMEA athletes: Gerasimos Lignos, triathlete, Grigoris Souvatzoglou, triathlon guide, and Dimosthenis Michalentzakis and Effie Gouli, swimmers. We follow their mission in the Summer Paraolympic Games "Paris 2024".

”V-oikos of our lives”, the program of actions and initiatives of Vikos SA, advocates inclusion and integration, providing long term support to people with disabilities.

People with disabilities and their commitment in the field of sports are a source of inspiration for us and our goal is to strengthen their struggle in different ways. By following their path towards success, by strengthening the "flow" of their struggles, by praising their determination in every effort they make, every struggle they are engaged in. We are present at each and every starting point and end.
